Jason has been working professionally with computers since the age of fifteen.  He attended Mohawk Valley Community College where he graduated with Associates Degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics.  From there, he went on to Rochester Institute of Technology where he earned a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science (with highest honors) and a Master Degree in Computer Science.  The concentration of his graduate study was in Theoretical Computer Science where he researched algorithms for Social Choice Theory.  Parts of this thesis were published in a 2009 paper presented at the Symposium on Discrete Algorithms.

He has worked extensively in software for the interpretation and display of data.  He has several years experience building applications for the real property industry and in building automated marketing systems.  His professional strengths lie in web applications programming and database development.

Jason is a professional member of the Association for Computing Machinery.

In addition to running Covey Media, Inc., Jason is an Adjunct Professor of Mathematics and Computer Science at MVCC.  He has taught courses in Java Programming, Data Gathering, Analysis, and Interpretation, Operating Systems, Trigonometry, Algebra, and Technical Math.

In the little spare time he gets he is a producer for Mad Angel Films and helps put together independent film productions with local director Matthew A. Peters.  He has also assisted in productions for other film companies as well.  In the summer he climbs mountains and is trying to become an Adirondack 46er.

 Jessica serves as Covey Media's secretary and assistant. She is a full time English teacher and is a graduate of The University at Buffalo's Ed.M program. Aside from teaching and tutoring, Jessica assists Jason with day-to-day tasks. Jessica loves communicating with people who need computer assistance, repairs, or new web applications for their own businesses.She understands the needs of small businesses and also the frustrations that can be experienced when someone's computer is not working the way that it should. Since Jason and Jessica are still newlyweds, they find great joy in being able to work together as much as possible.

On her spare time, Jessica enjoys reading (typical English teacher), Zumba, snowshoeing, cross-stitch, and any other activity that involves being with friends and family.

Jake is a cat and the S stands for Sprinkles.  Jake is a central figure of many of our PC repair promotions where he appears in both print and web advertisements as well as online commercials.  Jake can proudly boast that he is one of the few cats in the world who actually works for a living and generates revenue for his household. That's why he's on this page as a member of our staff. I bet you thought this was a joke, didn't you?

Although Jake can't program himself, he enjoys watching the monitor as code appears on the screen while we type it out.  Jake was born on March 20, 2011 and was adopted from the Stevens-Swan Humane Society.  He is a Domestic Short Hair that is some mixture of Siamese and Chartreuse.
