Jessica Covey, Vice President

Jessica grew up locally and returned home after college and graduate school to work close to where she grew up. She currently has a B.A. from The College of Saint Rose and an Ed.M from The University at Buffalo, both in English education.  Jessica and Jason got married in October of 2011 and have been living in wedded bliss ever since. Aside from being happily married, and working with Jason on the family business, Jessica is an English teacher at a local high school.

Teaching and working with clients on behalf of Covey Media certainly take a lot of time and hard work, but there is still plenty of time for leisure. Jessica likes to go hiking with her husband, being outdoors, reading, cooking, and spending time with family.

Joe Stanton, Software Engineer

Joe recently graduated from Mohawk Valley Community College receiving Associates Degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics, both with honors. While at MVCC, Joe also assisted other students by tutoring in MVCC's Learning Center. He is currently enrolled in SUNY IT's accelerated Bachelor's/Master's Computer Science program. He is also enrolled in SUNY IT's Applied Mathematics Bachelors program.

Joe has worked in multiple areas of computers since his first internship in 2009. Some of these areas included working with hard drives and computer drivers. Since starting at Covey Media Inc. in Fall 2011, most of Joe's work has been in web development and business applications.

In his spare time, Joe enjoys spending time with his son, family and friends. Joe also works on multiple side projects, including a self started project relating to computer file systems and working with professors at SUNY IT on a project relating to Discrete Exterior Calculus.

Andrew "Doc" Docherty, Account Manager & Software Engineer

Before pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Andrew developed several applications for live stage show performance control and data management.  He converted an acoustic drum kit to a silent electric kit designed for quick deployment and reliable performance. Andrew also developed and fabricated an Arduino-based intelligent built-in guitar MIDI system for precise control over digital audio and lighting equipment for live performances.

Andrew has worked with technologies such as Java, C#, ASP.NET, Javascript, PHP, SQL, C++, and MIDI.

Justin Lesniak, General Manager

Justin currently resides in Syracuse NY. As General Manager, Justin assists the company with customer relations and networking. Past work experiences include educating consumers about computer products and training sales associates on features and functions of TVs, computers, and other hardware. He also has experience with online blog management. Justin’s customer service skills and knowledge in software and hardware make him a valuable new member to our team. 

Outside of the company, one of Justin’s hobbies is gaming, with some favorites such as the Half Life series, Mega Man Series, Street Fighter, and so forth. He also is an avid movie lover. Some favorites include Mallrats, Galaxy Quest, Bio-Zombie, The Toxic Avenger, and so many more. Justin has also acted in some local independent horror films. Another one of Justin’s hobbies is being an avid comic book fan.
